| COATED ELECTRODE
The INVERTERS of the RD range have been designed for an easy use and to provide excellent welding
characteristics with commercial electrodes (rutile, basic and stainless steel). These inverters are equipped with electronic overvoltage, overheating and short-circuit protections. A built in HOT START and ARC FORCE control is linked to the current output control to provide smooth start and welding. The RD 1000-1300 are suitable for D.I.Y. jobs. RD 1500-1700 are suitable for both production and maintenance welding.

ALUMINIUM-CELLULOSE ELECTRODE
Single-phase portable inverters designed specifically to weld the more difficult cellulosic coated electrodes and aluminium up to 4 mm. They incorporate HOT START and ARC FORCE features and provide excellent arc characteristics welding all coated electrodes (140C SCRATCH ARC, 180C LIFT ARC). These units are equipped with thermo-static overload and short-circuit protection. They are suitable for
professional welders in the most demanding applications including
pipe welding and shipbuilding.

HIGH FREQUENCY T.I.G.
State-of-the-art inverter technology drives the RD 1800 HF and
RD 185 HF to excellent stick welding characteristics, using built-in HOT START and ARC FORCE functions.
These units offer high frequency (HF) arc starting for DC TIG
applications. Equipped with overheating and short-circuit protection.
Suitable for small metal working operations, maintenance and metal workshops.

T.I.G. - AC/DC
Inverters for DC TIG welding and AC TIG welding (aluminium), and STICK welding of all kinds of coated electrodes.
A convenient display makes it easy for the operator to set and read the welding parameters. 2/4 time welding functions are permitted selecting the 2/4 switch on the front panel and are controlled by the torch trigger.
A balance control in the AC mode permits adjustment of the ratio between penetration and cleaning. Suitable for industrial applications, metal workshops, aluminum automotive repair etc. There is a plug on the front panel to connect a manual or foot remote control. |
